Carlisle Street Balaclava is the main retail strip of East St Kilda. It is an eclectic mix of businesses from European delis like local institution Glicks to unique cafes like Hole in the wall, Batch and the very popular Las Chicas. There are also great restaurants like Illona Staller and En Izakaya. Quirky shops like Lulu and Little Lulu, the house of Balaclava and a great second hand store run by the Salvation army also make their mark. And when you have finished eating and shopping you can get your nails done at Hollywood nails or the beautiful Beautyologist.
Something for everyone ...
